Curriculum Vitae:Pastor Paul Hinchliffe

Paul is a local man, born in 1954.
He has worked in Huddersfield since giving his life to Christ in 1968. In
1972-74 he trained at Cliff College, in Derbyshire, completing his Diploma.
Paul toured the North of England showing the film " The Cross and the Switchblade"
in the mid 70's seeing hundreds saved.
Recently a Vicar in Barnsley told
his church that he gave his life to God at a showing of the film in 1977.
"Paul Hinchliffe, asked people to come forward and I was one of the crowd
who gave their lives to Christ that night." he said.
In 1981 he successfully trained
at the International Christian Leadership Course . This course brought powerful,
anointed teaching from ministries throughout the world. Many students have
moved on from that course to build large and growing churches. His depth of
knowledge, vision and Christian experience moves the church forward into growth.
Paul founded the Christian Fellowship
in Huddersfield in 1980 with other young people of vision. He worked in Barnsley
with a team planting and building a new church over a few years. During that
period God added to their number 50 people saved in 50 days.
Paul's wife Christine, they married
in 1981, has always been a great strength and encourager. Paul appears loud
while Christine appears quiet. She is strong, caring, and solid. Her ministry
is linked into the gifting of Paul and together they have a powerful partnership
amounted by God. They have two teenagers children, a young lady, and a young
man, who work alongside them in the church.
Paul has also been a successful
business man. He was a company director of a large international marketing
company where he travelled all over the world. He also was a leading sales
person for large telecommunication, data, networking and internet service
companies.
Paul returned to full time ministry
again in 1999 believing that time is too short not to give all his attention
to the work of God.
Friendship is important in Church
but we are not gathering to make friends but to seek the lost. Too many churches
are social clubs who have a much too comfortable relationship with each other
and a visitor feels like they are intruding on the religious party. We must
make our churches welcoming. Jesus said Go into the world and preach
the good news, healing the sick, baptising in water and the Holy Spirit.
